Tate is an amazing story of what rescue is all about. Unfortunately, his care is quite expensive and his adoption fee will not cover even a small portion of the medical costs he has thus far accrued. Educate your kids and earn money for GLLR!Linda M. Moser is a retired elementary school teacher who has always loved animals, especially dogs, and is very concerned about the needless sufering many of these innocent creatures endure. Linda has written two children's books because she believes that if children are educated about animal abuse and neglect early in life, they can help stop the suffering. A portion of each book sold will go to GLLR.

Welcome to Great Lakes!

Great Lakes Lab Rescue (GLLR) is a 501(c)3 charitable organization dedicated to placing unwanted Labrador Retrievers into loving new homes, providing good homes for Labs who might otherwise be abandoned or euthanized by their previous owners, and reducing the unwanted dog population and increasing responsible pet ownership of all dogs through education.

We are an entirely volunteer run organization and nearly every dollar we raise goes directly to dog related care and expenses.
