Birthday Gifts? Who needs them??? Doggies do!!!!

A huge thank you goes out from GLLR to Grant who turned 7 recently. In lieu of gifts for his brithday, Grant requested that his friends brings items that GLLR could use in our rescue efforts. As you can see, Grant's friends came through with flying colors and our new foster dogs will be much more comfortable.

Location! Location! Location!

A big shout out to 5 year old Michael A. who took it upon himself to do something special. Michael wanted to help GLLR so he made lemonade, set up a table with a big poster of the available dogs and set to selling lemonade. Did we mention his "booth" was adjacent to the Elmhurst Farmer's Market?!?!?
